I’m driven by a love for bringing people together and sparking connections that might never happen otherwise. Creativity has been at the core of my life—whether as a musician, composer, writer, or visual artist. It’s been more than expression; it’s been survival. It made me who I am, shaping the way I communicate, listen, and show up. Being an ambassador for human connection isn’t just what I do—it’s the way I move through the world.
Trust isn’t a byproduct of my work—it is the work, and it’s become my signature. I’ve built it quietly, project by project and conversation by conversation, shaped in part by my time as a former licensing board member and the perspective that came with it. Today, I bring that experience fully to your side—navigating complexity, anticipating what matters, and following through in ways that hold up.
Over time, that consistency becomes reputation—so when my name comes up, it already carries the confidence behind it.
What an exceptional experience! Eric is knowledgeable, honest, curious, patient, pleasant and persistent. The perfect recipe for what could have been a very stressful move. He is just who I needed to help me work through my professional shift from Chicago to Atlanta. Eric is organized and always had something meaningful and memorable to offer in our time together. Thanks Eric! -Dr Stephanie Cartwright
My work has always been about connection—between people, ideas, and the parts of experience that don’t always line up neatly. That how I sit with people in difficult work. Creativity has also been a steady part of my life—music, writing, visual art—and it’s shaped how I listen and make sense of what people are carrying.
If you’re looking to build a private practice, I’ve been through that process. It really comes down to learning how to turn clinical work into something sustainable over time—how you structure your services, develop relationships that support referrals, and build a practice that can actually hold the kind of work you want to do.
Most of my clinical work has been with complex, high-acuity presentations—trauma, dissociation, addiction, suicidality, personality disorders, and severe mental illness. A lot of it is long-term work, where the focus is less on quick answers and more on pacing, judgment, and staying steady when things shift.
Over time, I’ve also spent a lot of time teaching other clinicians —physicians, nurses, and therapists—usually around the parts of practice that don’t have clean answers: risk, complexity, and decision-making under pressure.
My training includes EMDR, clinical hypnosis, and telemental health. I’m a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH), a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).
This is the work I do, and the lens I bring to it.
You know the experience, the perspective, and the approach I bring. Now it’s time to put it to work for you—reach out, and let’s make it happen.
